Using Flash with the D70s

Post Sat Jun 23, 2007 3:30 am

I have a Nidon D70s / SB600 speedlight. When using the flash, why is it that the camera will only alow a shutter speed of 1/60 when in apperture mode, no matter what you adjust the apperture to? Is this normal?

Normal, 1/60 is the standard sync speed. The flash should be able to tell you what aperture to use based on the AF range reading. If you want to use a different shutter speed then you need to use slow or slow/rear flash.
