Images Under exposurd & very red when opened in I photo.

Hi, My Canon 30- D LCD brightness is set at 25%, that's at one quarter brightness, or the second increment from the left being (low screen brightness) After I shoot studio style with flash, or hotel bands with speedlight on the camera in (low light), All exposures on the camera screen seem fine,(when I shoot studio, I set the camera ISO to 100, when I'm in hotels in low light I have the ISO on 400 to 600) again all looks fine on the screen, BUT when I load the images into I PHOTO the images are badly under exposed and over RED in color, so I spend hours tweeking them up to a reasonable brightness & color. . CAN someone PLEASE advise me on WHAT TO DO ?

if you honestly shoot that well, i don't understand your problem.

Since your images don't look as if they were -ever- underexposed,
I don't get your 'problem' ...

1. Could you upload a copy of one recent shot as it looked originally
in iPhoto into a subgallery of yours that is not public but give us the URL ?

2. Have you checked your cam settings so that you're not using
extreme exposure adjustments before shooting? White Balance settings?

3. iPhoto must be 'right' since your finished photos look fine, as you know.

4. In Firefox, your home page looks fine. In IE the thumbnails are
faded except for the selected thumbnail.

You know all about such things, so something is weird here.
Have you tested shutter close time vs your other cameras?
Taken it in for a test by others?
