Filters

Is it "necessary", I mean, worth to pay more for filters "D", special for digital cameras or standar filters will work more or less equal (amateur use)?
I´m thinking mainly in Circular polarizer...

Well, you do want to get a circular, as digital seems to make light problems like lens flare even worse.

I think that manufacturers labeling a filter for digital are trying to make a quick buck. My Hoya circular polarizer wasn't advertised as such, but works marvelously.

You may also want to a neutral density filter also, for overcast days.

I don't know any real reason to buy "D" filters for your digital camera.
I have used "normal" ones and haven't notice any problems.
Ops... I actually have one "D" one but still don't see any different between that and my "normal" ones.

Thks !! I will manage with a standar one then. It seems more marketing than any else...
