Err message flashing up on my viewfinder on my Nikon D70

my sister dropped my camera by accident and now i keep getting an err message flash up, the shutter will compress, the flash works, but the camera wont capture any images to the drive, it will click and then seems to freeze and the err message wont go away, mind you the iso auto keeps flashing as well...
i have tried everythign i can think of, firmware updates, master re-set, is there anyway to fix this or am i going to ahve to give it to someone for repair /
Anyone have any idea what is wrong with it and how much it is likely to cost me to get it fixed ????
