nikon sb-26 possible to trigger by IR ?

I would like to trigger my two nikon-SB26 with a IR-unit (sorry! what's the darn thing called in English? I am talking about this little thing you mount on your cam instead of a flash!)

However, what I do not know is if the two SB26' can be operated by IR signal. I know that my nikon SB600 can. If the two SB26 units can not be operated by IR-signal is there any possibility to remotely trigger them without using cables or another flash. e.g. by radio...
