Hoya circular polarizer standard (blue box - standard - uncoated) $22.00 or Hoya HMC Multi coated $45.00----- is the old story you get what you pay for true??
Is the three of four layers of "coating" important....?? is there a big difference.... I've always used a polarizer on my film camera years ago but haven't purchased one for the digital camera yet...Now is the time... Which one do pbaser's reccommend...

You get what you pay for. I had a decent circular polarizer, dropped it and broke it, so used a cheap one I already had. The results were terrible, so I bit the bullet and spent $90 on a 52mm B&W.
