when will you not use it?

If I'm not mistaken, you've already asked this question in a previous thread, and had answers:
http://forum.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=39415 I really hate having my "limited, on-line time" waisted...

c. not every one read same forum topics some people read the technical section but not the digital section.
Quite true. But there's a reason that multi-posting (as opposed to cross-posting to relevant and related groups) is frowned upon in Usenet, for example. In a cross-posted message, at least everyone in every group can see that answers have been given and won't waste time by repeating what someone else may have already said in another group. In a multi-posted message (one posted separately to different groups), someone could end up giving exactly the same answer and to what end? You've wasted their time in asking a question that's already been answered.
Since you don't have the option of cross posting in a phpBB forum like this one, it would at least be courteous to say something like "I asked this in the Digital Cameras group (
http://forum.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=39415) but would like to get further opinions on it." This ensures that anyone who DOES answer your question will only spend the time to do so if they have something new to add. That's basic, common courtesy.
So is acknowledging responses that you've already received, but that's a whole 'nother thing.
