I have a weird problem getting Photoshop Elements 6 to open my RAW file format (NEF) photos off my Nikon D90. I get a message that it can't open the file type, but I have no issue with the same file type off my Nikon D70. Anyone know of a fix or should I upgrade to a newer version to fix this issue. Thanks for any help!

You can open NEF files from your D90 with the rig version of the Camera RAW plugin. Get it here

But it sure wouldn't hurt to upgrade to a newer version of Elements either.

At the very least, upgrade your Adobe Camera Raw version to 5.5. The download link is here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ ... ftpID=4582

ACR 5.5 does include support for the D90.

However I'd suggest upgrading Elements itself; you're 3 versions behind now, and Elements is cheap for what it does.
