PBase's TOS

V. Intellectual Property Rights
PBase claims no ownership or control over any content submitted, posted or displayed by you on or through PBase services. You or a third party licensor, as appropriate, retain all patent, trademark and copyright to any content you submit, post or display on or through PBase services and you are responsible for protecting those rights, as appropriate. By submitting, posting or displaying content on or through PBase services which are intended to be available to the members of the public, you grant PBase a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publish and distribute such content on PBase services for the purpose of displaying and distributing PBase services. PBase furthermore reserves the right to refuse to accept, post, display or transmit any content in its sole discretion.

The above differs from FB in that PBase has more restrictions on what they may do with our photos. It won't stop someone from downloading a photo, but that's another discussion...

For a professional photographer, the author of the blog does not seem to know the difference between rights managed images and exclusivity. He appears to think that all rights managed images cannot be licensed to anyone else which is nonsense. They can be licensed to anyone, anywhere and for a period of time UNLESS they are licensed on an exclusive basis. I tried to post it on his blog but it was treated as "spam"...nuff said.
