Need help editing this photo

Hi,

I've been using photoshop to improve some images. The original photo has this white boat in the background. I used magic extractor to remocve it, and now I'm trying to fill in water using clone tool. However, the water in that area looks pretty fake. How can I make it look real?

It's because you sampled from the same areas, so we see the repeated patterns. Try to sample from different areas of the sea, then it should look more natural. And also try to set the brush hardness quite low, which should make it blend better.
