Eye / Teeth processing

Post Thu Nov 06, 2008 7:30 am

Can someone point me to a tutorial on processing eyes and teeth so that they are whitened? I'd also like to remove flash glare from eyes.

Thanks!

It's probably a good idea to mention which software you're working with.

If it's Photoshop, there are quite a few good ones around, and in particular Lynda has a course that's worth looking at:

There are a few "sampler" movies (unfortunately whitening teeth isn't one of them) and you have to pay for the rest, but Lynda's fairly good value IMHO.

If you want to go for a less polished but free and still not bad video tutorial, here's one:

You'll doubtless be able to find a bunch of general / non-video tutorials on this sort of thing via Google, but I do recommend the Lynda ones if (a) you have the readies available and (b) they have a course on the software that you use.

Thanks!

And yes, I'm using Photoshop -- sorry to have left that out.

I don't have a specific answer to help with this, but a Google search on "Photoshop teeth whitening" returned a number of hits, including a few videos.

It would have helped if I hadn't pasted the same link in twice, D'OH!

This is the free one that I meant to include. It's part 1 of 3:

No need to search...it's really simple "dodge" tool... 5% brush.
