Vivid colour huh, Barri? Sounds like you're dream was inspired by the digital age. Seems to be a lot of people these days who crank it up to 11 with colour. Mind you, velvia's not exactly oh naturel

I just can't recall having had vivid colour or black & white dreams. I've been able to fly like a bird, but then I can do that anyway :roll:

Some people could be having flashbacks too - only in their sleep?

Maybe that's the reason for all the over-saturation on the net?
People trying to translate their dreams in Photoshop :wink: ?
I've never liked Velvia much - but think I've been looking around way too long
A hazard of net image viewing - 'dreaming in Velvia'? :D Oh No! Anything but that

I dream in long tonal scales. Sleep is when I work out compositional ideas and pre-visualization. I believe that pre-visualization prepares one for recognition of compos, and for me as a wildlife photographer, the movements that precede the photo I want. I generally work out a "pose book" for my different animal species. This makes all the difference for me.
