Found these articles kind of interesting, and somewhat disturbing, even to those who aren't photographers. I've heard about the trouble the news media is in before...kind of thought this to be a pretty well written and thought out article(s) by someone inside. Not too pleasant for anyone considering a career in this field. The second is a follow up on the first.
My own opinion is that the photography world is in the process of adaption to one degree or another, lots of things are evolving and changing with the economic turmoil and change. I think it has affected many other businesses also...goals and aims...and how business is done.
