Light & Color of Sherlock Holmes

Hi Folks !

I hope this is the right section where to post this my question...

Yesterday I watched the movie 'Sherlock Holmes' and I was surprised when I realized that light & color of that movie is exactly what
I'm looking for and try to apply to my pictures in post-production.

So, my question is: does anybody know what the name of that technique is? Is there a tutorial on web?

Yeh ! It was a great movie. I enjoyed every minute and every frame. The toning was fantastic and I tried to reproduce it later using CS3. Sadly I have no copy of images from the movie to use as a target pallete, only my memories.

Hi Giuseppe,
I don't do processing of this type, so I can't give you specific advice, but I would recommend trying plug-ins if you can't get the effect you are seeking by using the filters in Photoshop or whatever processing software you are using. Nik Software recently became a sponsor of our photo group. You might want to check out what hey have.

There are a lot of other plug-ins out there too. I guess you need to do some research. If you do find what you are looking for, post it here, so others who are interested can see it. Sorry I can't be of more help.
