I'm looking for recommendations of inspiring books on photography books, primarily books by photographers, about photographers, on the history of photography and/or interesting books on the technical side of the discipline to read during the last bit of the summer.

Works that has made an impression on people that make them want to recommend the book(s) to others (me).
