Postcard Printing

Post Wed Apr 06, 2005 3:22 pm

I'm thinking of doing a postcard. I tried 4R paper with the back blank, assuming that I can print the lines in myself... but I couldn't at all.. tried changin the paper format to 'transparency' but it still smudge...sigh...
can I get suggestions which papers i can actually use to do it??
i can't seem to see any prepacked postcard paper in the market.

You're probably better off finding a double-sided fine art paper. They're a thicker stock and will hold up to handling better, and since they're a rag paper you won't have any problems with smearing.

The only downside is that they are more expensive than more readily available papers and don't usually come in small sizes. But, since larger sheets are cheaper per square inch, it makes the most sense to buy large and cut down to the required size.

I don't know what fine art papers are available down there, but there should be a very good selection.
