PIM II plugin for Photoshop

Does anyone use this plugin ? I have just used it for the first time and has an outstanding result printed from PS and without the plugin I get rubbish.My camera isn't PIM compatable so the photos get imported with the EXIF option.
Any more info on this please?? I have an Epson R800
