Canon i960 Nightmare....Please help me.

I dont know what is going on here. Ok heres the deal...

Im trying to print gray on reuglar plain paper...works fine...no problems.
then I printed on Hammermill Color Copy paper.......works fine
then I tried Hammermill Business Gloss.........the grey comes out purple!
then I tried Matte Paper..........purple again!

I tried every setting and color mode. Nothing works. It seems that on regular paper everything is fine. But as soon as I change it, all the colors have changed completely!

Please help as I have a major project due in 3 days!!

I DO NOT have this printer. But based on working with other printers and the fact that your colors are changing as you use different media types, is there a place to select glossy paper or matte paper rather than plain paper? Just a thought.--Rene

You might want to check to see if there's similar reports on nifty-stuff forums (google it) and if not, ask on there... The crew are particularly clued up on Canon printers and will undoubtedly provide a few clues if not a solution..
