Niagra IV CIS on Epson R1800

Post Thu Aug 31, 2006 3:13 am

I recently purchased and setup an R1800 for the pigment inks on glossy paper. Does anyone have any experience with the Niagara IV CIS from Media Street on an Epson R1800 printer?

Previously I was (and still am) using a Canon i9900 with refillable cartridges and Media Street Plug-N-Play inks. I get great results on Canon, Ilford, Kodak, and Epson premium papers. I go through about 1 and 1/2 sets of 4oz bottles of ink per year. 99% of my printing is photographic. Since the Epson has chipped cartridges, it seems to me like a CIS is the way to go. I read an in depth review of the Niagara IV in the forums at DPReview.com. I would just like to get as much information as possible to alleviate any possible future problems.

Thanks
