epson R220 help please

bought the printer a few months ago and it has been working fine on windows 98 but now it wont print - i have re-installed the software but that hasnt worked, usb is there as its port now but before THE RE-INSTALL it said LPT1, also it is now there under device manager so i dont know what else to do - please can someone help please

installed it to my other pc that has xp on it and it works fine
