i9900 printer settings

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:27 pm

Hi all

In coming to this forum to research lenses for the 300D, I found some threads here about paper for the i9900 I purchased recently.

I was happy to discover that Epson paper is made by Canon, since I have not been able to find the canon paper locally. I have been disappointed in the prints I have been getting with the HP premium plus paper I have left from my former printer. I do have an additional question, though.

When using the Epson or other papers mentioned, which printer paper selection do you choose (since all listed are Canon papers, Photo Pro, etc.) Using "other photo paper" doesn't seem like the best way to get good prints, but none of the other choices seem to produce great results with the HP paper either.

Thank you.

Hi Carla,

Not sure but you might try Photo Pro setting. I use that with paper I got from Costco and it works fine. Actually, it suggested that inside the box. I think Canon manufactures many different "off-brands" and we can benefit greatly sometimes in price.

Sincerely,
Ellsworth Weaver
