Good morning Emily and Slug

Sorry to say that I have found another issue.

This morning, I deleted one of my images in this gallery - https://pbase.com/mccartney/joshua_tree
The site then gave me the standard and correct screen with the link "Back To Gallery"

I clicked on the "Back To Gallery" link and was sent to another PBase members webpage.

Here is the link(s)
https://pbase.com/karsty/pultneyville__2010 - the page said that - quote - "you must login as karsty to edit this page"

and I got sent to another members page when I went back to the "Back To Gallery" page and clicked the link a second time

https://pbase.com/edit_gallery/belvedere/portmeirion_2009

Thanks and I do appreciate all of your hard work

Can you plse check an eye on the problem and let me know.

Thank you very much for your attention

That's not good. Are you able to see any thumbnails anywhere on the site? Or is the problem just your galleries, or just on the edit_gallery page?
So far I can't replicate this. I'm especially confused because those thumbnail images are coming from the same address as before.

this problem suddenly resolved today. I'm still a little dumbfounded why it was happening. It was only on my laptop browsers (chrome + ie)that this was happening and it would be all of pbase. i think my av software might of been blocking something after the change but that's just a guess.

everything appears good now, thanks!

tremont,
This is great! We had been working on a plan to debug what you were experiencing, which is always difficult when we can't see it ourselves. The only difference for site images is that they are now https instead of http. This was necessary since we have made the whole site https as part of this move.
Enjoy the faster PBase, now with visible photos.

Morning Emily & Slug

Would it be possible with your new software to change the slideshow option to view more than 30 photos.
Maybe the whole gallery to which the slideshow function has been set, or maybe to at least 100 photos.

Thank you very much - I am enjoying this new speed. I still say that you have one of the best, easily member customizable photo sharing sites

By the way, the improvement in the performance of the site is very apparent. My gallery pages come up very quickly now.

Re: Images posted, viewed in 'Original'.

Post Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:07 am

I just posted my PAD for the day and noticed that when I opened it in Pbase it was very dark. This was in Original. Switching to Large brought up the image as it should have appeared in Original. I reposted the image, doing nothing to it, and the second time it appeared in Original as it should. There must be a bit of a bug there somewhere.

Thanks,

Vern

The stats pages are working again. The data from Feb 9-10 is still incomplete, and that is why they were giving errors. We will get the rest of the data processed today.

Vern (fotabug), We are sorting out issues with color profiles in original images. Did you use the new editor for both the original upload and the re-upload?

Barry (mccartney), We will look into increasing the number of photos in a gallery slideshow.

gedumans,

I believe you are saying that you cannot see any images when you view pages. Can you see the image at the following urls?
A - https://pbase.com/emily/image/23547405/medium
B - https://a4.pbase.com/u36/emily/medium/2 ... 035.21.jpg
C - http://a4.pbase.com/u36/emily/medium/23 ... 035.21.jpg

For your comment issue, are you able to type the words, but they don't show up after you submit the comment? More details about what you are experiencing would be very helpful.

-Emily
