Messages REALLY messed up!

Post Tue Feb 18, 2020 12:48 pm

Why have messages stopped working!?!?!?

Every message I've received turns into the most recent one. In other words, if I click on a message I received six month ago, it displays the message I received yesterday.

Messages don't unbold after you open them. You can't undelete messages in the trash. Status marks only a few of them as read, though they've all been read!

Or I get this message when opening some.

"There is no record of you exchanging mails with this person."

I get so few messages I guess I've not had an opportunity to notice! It does seem that the system threads messages from the same sender, so when you click on one you pretty much get the whole pile with the most recent at the top -- don't know if that has any connection to what you're seeing.

I try to look at these mysterious events optimistically -- it must mean the invisible PBase elves are tinkering with something -- maybe in a week or three something new and exciting will appear -- or something that' s been broken for years will start to work. :?

Thank you so very much for your reply.

I wrote a fuller explanation to you and saved it in a draft. Now I can't find the draft. I'm DONE!

I've sent and received over 40,000 messages using PBase mail. I use it almost daily.

"Inbox (22361)
Sent (18220)"

I have not had any problems with it in the last few years. I am unable to duplicate any of the problems that you describe, except of undeleting images.
Also I have not heard anything from others I know using PBase mail. Therefore I think this may be a problem unique to you and would recommend doing the usual: signing in and out, clearing cache, using a different browser, etc. If that does not work, contact PBase. They have been responsive recently to problems that we has with the S&T Competition. Good luck!
