PBase

Has anybody had any contact with PBase customer service recently? I've emailed them three times over the past three weeks, but have never received a response, not even the old automated "We've received your email and will get back to you."

I had sent them a check to renew my account back on May 25, but it still shows as expiring soon. Last year I had sent a check, too, but I guess they hadn't looked at their mail so blocked me from posting pictures until we got it resolved. The year before there was a problem accepting payment by Amex, and the same thing happened. I was just trying to head off problems by sending a check more than a month in advance, but this lack of response has me worried that I'll be blocked once again.

Any advice?

I've been renewing using PayPal for years. No problem.

As for customer service. Unavailable as far as I know.

Thanks so much for the response, Walter. Years ago I decided not to use PayPal due to negative reports I had read. Maybe they're no longer valid, but I'm not going to start using them just to pay Pbase. Two years ago they claimed to accept Amex, but Amex wouldn't accept a charge from them, thus resulting in my being blocked.

And I agree -- there doesn't seem to be any kind of customer service there at all, which is pretty disappointing. If I actually get blocked from posting again, despite having paid more than a month in advance, I think I'll just give up for good. Pretty sad after being a PBase member for 20 years this year.
