Comment field of Exif data

Pbase does not seem to extract the comment field of the Exif data. Can someone confirm that?

My images in http://www.pbase.com/sanjeev/aug_18_2003__budapest have comments embedded, and they do get displayed by JAlbum, for example. Pbase ignores them.

Manual entry of comments via Pbase gallery fields would be too painful.
