Update Gallery - Navigation Errors

I looked through some old topics to see if this has been addressed yet, but gave up after about 3 minutes (sorry). Here's my issue:

When you are editing a gallery, you have available a navigation bar up at the top that will let you go back to any of the levels up from your current gallery (ie. Root >> Gallery 1 >> Gallery 1a >> Gallery 1a2 >> Display This Gallery)

However, if you make changes to that gallery by hitting the "Update Gallery" button the navigation bar shrinks to (Root >> Display This Gallery).

This isn't a serious issue, but when you are making a deep tree structure and you want to only go up one level, make some changes, then go back up another level, it gets quite annoying. Is this a bug, or has it been addressed yet? Thanks!
