Just wondering if pbase offer an API to allow website designers to upload photos directly...?

smugmug and flickr both allow API access.

Hi

You can upload individual images or you can go to the load page and upload multilple images (about 20) or you can upload a zip file. You can choose the method that fits your application the best.

Thanks

That'll be a "no" then... :-(

Please consider adding this functionality! It would add to the utility of PBase.

Thanks,

Richard

The answer is, unfortunately, no. It is a matter of sending posts through HTML and then updating the forms on the backend via posts.

David Holmes wrote an upload API for pbase if you check here: http://davidholmes.org/aperture-to-pbase/

The newest version is 0.15, unless I'm missing something...

That is not an API. That is an Aperture plug-in to upload from Aperture to iPhoto. An API would be a public programming interface. This doesn't exist offically for PBASE. Those of us that are writting uploaders are like iPhoto2PBase are parsing HTML by hand to get the info we need.
