IPTC Data ---> PBase Caption

Another voice in the wilderness.......please add the ability to PBase to read and transfer the IPTC caption field to PBase "Title" or "Description" field.

Seems like something which should have been added years ago. Are you sure it can't do this? The upload page saus "No change" - where does this caption curently go?

I would also love to see IPTC keywords get transferred to the PBase keywords for an image.
I'm pretty sure all or most of the competition have had this for a while.

Wow, it's about time. This is one of 3 basic features Smugmug provides that Pbase does not.
1) EXIF/IPTC mapping to Caption/Title
2) Ability to sell prints (set your own price, etc) - paper or download
3) Good printing service
As well as custom watermarks, etc. etc. etc.
I don't know who ranked the features to work on... seems like another one of those mysteries like selling prints on Pbase.

Yes it was, years ago. I don't know whether it was ever added to the old uploader but it's certainly in the new(er) one. For the last couple of years I've been adding what PBase calls the "Caption" into the IPTC Code Description field, and the PBase "Title" into the "Title" field. In both cases the content automatically populates the PBase fields when the image is uploaded. (Incidentally, so do keywords.)
