Multi-photo Gallery Thumnails, Slug?

When are you going to let others have that nice feature on your galleries?

there are just some problems with it right now.
don't want to make it a real feature until it works well.

Hey, not this is completely gone from your (slug's) galleries. What happened? So, this is not going to make it, I believe?

sorry it hasn't happened yet.
there are various technical/speed issues with keeping the mini-thumbnails properly updated.
they'd need to update probably everytime you modified the gallery, and for sure if you modified whether an image was public or private.

then the modified images would need to be pushed out to all the caching image servers.

anyway, i still want to do this, but i can't put it online as a real feature yet until we have the resources to support it and keep it from breaking.

one possibility that might be easier is to make a command on a gallery that generates one of those montage images and ... ok. just thought of a better way to keep it all organized..

so, it will happen sometime, but there are various things that need to be done first.
