I've already been in touch with Donovan Janus from the site, he says that it currently doesn't work with PBase, and would require some changes (to PBase) to get it to work.

This would be a great idea, if Pbase could work with them and make this a default selectable through the settings. It would I am sure free up a lot of time and effort on Pbase's end too.

It's a good idea but I find their fee of 18% of the total sales price to a bit expensive.

I just posted a question about this service offered by EM on the Technical forum... and wanted to know if it worked on images at pbase.

The site Flikr is not able to use it as their members sign an agreement to work with flikr affiliates only. (re: printing)

I am a Canadian, so would have to use "self-fulfilment" for all prints. Shipping costs, the high cost of the American dollar, the time it takes to get a print diagonally across the Americas,through Canada Customs, prevents local clients from ordering through an American outlet. It is ridiculously high cost.

So they could not charge 18% American for customer notifiction and credit card service only...and for a widget. That would be for prints/shipping and handling services?

Anyone tried it yet?

I personally prefer PBase does it, without any kind of external scripts running...I see already problems arrise with images for sale in protected galleries
What I do miss, is the option for ordering digital files only (no prints) All of my clients need my files digitally (they are used for paper and screen based publishing) for so far I see, "buyhisimage" is not offering that service. 18% is quite high, for 'just' offering a payment script and handling.
