Anniversary of wait for a fix...

Unfortunately, this is also a "Pbase Experience." I have reported this several times to support@pbase.com, each time got a confirmation email. Nothing. I asked here. Nothing. Now a year later: Nothing.

Fix time? 5min maybe.

Problem? Some cameras are not properly entered in PBase list of cameras.Their EXIF model name slightly differs and probably because of that they will be ignored. One such camera is the Lumix FZ18. The firmware of this camera has model name in the EXIF data "Panasonic DMC-FZ18", PBase camera DB has its link denoted as "Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18". This may or may not be the reason that we must manually enter this camera type in each image to get the link to the Pbase camera page and to get the image added to the total number of images by that camera type.

Pbase lists mere 604 images made by this camera. I suppose its rather like 10,000 to 20,000 (FZ7 has ca. 27,000, FZ8 has 6000), but because of this problem, the images are not being counted.

Will it get fixed? We shall hope, but we might not prevail .
