I would like faster site !

I've read a lot of people here praising how much faster this site is lately, but my experience the last few days is that it seems really slow - especially uploading pics, or modifying galleries, or even commenting on pics. I'm not a techie, but it seems that speed in cyber land is like speed in motorsports:

Ques - how fast do you want to go?
Answer - how much do you want to spend !

IMHO - Pbase is not spending enough since it was always slow and now at times appears slower. For a site of this magnitude, break out the cash and upgrade your servers big time. Otherwise, you are stuck in slowland and your competition is overshadowing you. I'm debating whether to renew my membership since I simply don't have the time to wait for pbase to perform basic functions.
