This is how this travel zoom appear in the Lens Database at Pbase:

"Nikon new AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR"

Seriously?

Why do we have in a few lenses this repeating "Nikon Nikkor" as opposed to all other Nikkors"? Could you please simply enter it consistently with all other Nikkors?

If you haven't, you might submit this request via email to cameras@pbase.com or support@pbase.com. There have been some indications (after a long lapse) that The Management(tm) has looked in these forums in the last few months, but in theory they are where we users struggle to help each other out. That suggests emailng the folks in charge might be more direct/quicker. The cameras@pbase.com is the official place for database related requests.

It is true that over the last half dozen years response in general has been somewhat haphazard and lackluster, but there have been a few promising signs of late that someone is still out there at the controls.
