Jpeg file size reduction
Posted: Sun Sep 14, 2003 9:08 pmWhen Pbase announced that it was going to become a compulsory pay service, I recall that there was a promise to add a facility to crunch image file sizes, in order to make better use of storage space.
I have to confess that, before this, I used to selfishly upload images at their full 6mp size. I now upload new images at 800x600 to save space, but still have a few galleries with the large file sizes. I would dearly like to make use of the promised size reduction tool in order to save space.
Slug, when will this tool be available?
