How to add the 'tracker'?

Sorry that I cannot find an example but I used to see on someone's pbase gallery that there's a little 'arrow symbol in a square' (like a counter) that shows you where ppl who click on your site are from (show their cookies or something?).

Does anyone know how I could add that to my pbase site? Thanks.
