Thierry,
Love it that you're adding French instructions, should help a lot of people. Good work.

I have been trying copy my front page to paste here - but I can't seem to get it done. Anyway I am very proud of my galleries - I spent A LOT of time reading trying to figure out how to change stuff - I didn't know a thing about CSS or anything. Anyone is welcome to copy it including the slideshow!

I must admit I learned a ton by viewing others code. I did a ton of cut and paste trial and error. Thierry, your CSS sheets are incredible and your lessons far more valuable than I can tell you. Without them I would be lost. Many thanks to you and the others that have given us all these great gifts.

I have made an attempt at my first sheet
I am breaking my sheets down into two catagories, Main and Sub
Main pages will have graphics and maybe animations while sub pages will not.

This is my first attempt at this so bare with me.

Well your options are wide open...all it takes is a day or two to learn basic css and you can make your own personalized page.

Here's mine which was quite easy to create:

Nice Page

Paul, very nice layout. I haven't gotten into tables yet.

Hi all,

I just spent a day creating a new CSS, based on the Karen 1109 sheet originally. Not sure if it will be to everyone's taste but if you do like it please feel free to use the code or mess around with it!

http://www.pbase.com/stuegan

It looks okay to my eyes in both Explorer and Firefox, but if anyone is browsing using another and it looks bizarre please let me know.

Cheers,

Stu

I suspect the OP wanted PBase to provide more ready made style sheets without all the hassle. Ability to have large image surrounded by smaller ones for example.

I have been with PBase for the last six years and they have never updated their stylesheets in that time, nor do I believe they will do so in the next six years :)

Well, many peolple ask me why I've locked with password my style sheets page.
It's just because it appears in my random profile gallery, it was too weird.
Anyway the password is: 123
