Better way to embed video player in galleries?

Hello:
I recently tried to embed the video player of some clips I did. In spite I put all the code in the descrption, checking the box "check if using html...", etc and no way, the players doesn't appears.
The only way I found was to put this gallery as a subgallery from a blog, then it appears the players in the blog , like this http://www.pbase.com/crespoide/clips
But this creates a confussion when you want to shows just a video, because I must to create a "fake" gallery. I hope you understand,
Any suggestions, or right codes are welcome.

I think you need make some steps:
1. Create account at youtube.com
2. Insert some html code in gallery description

I don't know if this will help you but I embed the external youtube
video at http://www.pbase.com/andrys/cappballoonvideo

The code is put into the user description box and I just put a
small version of an image (in another gallery) at the top so that
focus is on the video.
