Firefox doesn't display thumbnail border

I checked my Ashton & Burnley UK pages in Explorer and was surprised to see that the thumbnails had black borders and the title was properly centered top and bottom, while the Firefox browser doesn't display the border and the Title text aligns along the bottom of the box.

Are these common inconsistencies?
