hallo, i hope there is somebody who want waste is time with my problems! :oops:

After the murder of the flash presentation of my homepage i've tried to build a new homepage with supported slideshow but there is someting wrong in my css:
The "welcome" is too much on the right
there is a little square on the top of the slide show
i would like to put a picture of me in the black part between the slide show and the welcome...is it possible?

Just a quick look for you, it seems you've added the slide show images in the incorrect place and still have the "Object" tag included (which has been disabled). There's also a few other small things. Try this code (by adding in your image numbers, and see if you can get it going:

If you want to add another photo at the top, just use the image tag above, or below your current banner (but above the menu buttons) and it should work.

Beautiful images, btw. Hope this helps to get you going.

Okay,
I'll be glad to help, but I need the actual code you're adding into the gallery description area, and not the code gotten via "view source", since they're different.

After looking, I thought it would just be easier to re-do the entire thing than to find all the problem areas. Try this, and hopefully it should fix things. Also, I added your "RSS" feed to it, for older browsers to subscribe with.

Oops, sorry... I messed up the feed tag. :oops:

No wonder you couldn't figure out what it was for! :lol:

Look in your code for this line:

I must have feel asleep when I added it. It should be changed to this:

Also, since I can't view the actual code you installed, it looks you've added some additional breaks. But you've added an extra "<" which is showing below your banners. It's probably an additional one which needs to be removed so it doesn't display on your page. That seems to be all left to have it completed, and running right.

Also, there's no need to credit me. While I appreciate it, credit should go to those who wrote the original scripts, & made tuts available to the rest of us so we could make use of it. Check the Pbase Wiki (link at the bottom of my posts) hosted Srijith and you'll see what I mean.
