Check this Pbase site and let me know what you think. I have tested it with MSIE 6, Opera 7.11, Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1, and Netscape Navigator 7.1.

Everything about the style sheet is fine except for the faded mouse-over effect on the thumbs. It dimishes the overall impact of the gallery thumbs. I tire quickly from wandering with the mouse trying to see what a thumb *really* looks like. I spend less time in a gallery styled this way.

I must say I like the simple opacity change with thumbnails - especially with small galleries where you don't mind 'exploring' a few images ti see what hides there - particularily bright colour galleries.

As such for mine I've been happy with ALexC's stylesheet but introduced a webdev Opacity change starting even lower at 30%.

Be interested to hear views with regards to the galleries I host.

You asked so I'll be honest. Your pictures are TERRIFIC, but...I'm not a big fan of the lowered opacity. I like to see the pics as they are. That's just my personal opinion. Again, I do like your pics though.

It's a pain coz from everything I've read that I'm the only one who's intrigued and appreciative of the opacity effect - now to make the decision whether or not to keep it ..!
