I need help with a style sheet

I'm not very good at html and therefore not good and designing a color scheme for my galleries. I would like to make another gallery but instead of going with the easy to use pre-made pbase stylesheets I want to use my own choice of colors. I already am aware of hex color numbers so that's not part of my question.

How do I accomplish this? I know where to make such changes but I don't know which lines of code to change to get what I want. Here are two lines of code from one of my existing galleries. They are the only two lines I could find that I thought have anything to do with colors.

My basic question is----are these the only two lines that I need to address and, if so, what html do I need to change and what do I change it to?
