I'm not quite sure what you mean by user description? The image description or ? Basically anything on the gallery and image pages can by styled, so let me know what you're after, I'll try and help.

on the gallery edit page under the area designated "description" where we can elect to use HTML; I want to change the font size and color in that area.

ah ok, yes the gallery description. This can certainly be styled.

If you know how to edit the CSS the gallery description is controlled by the DIV "galleryheader" so you can change whatever you like for this CSS property.

I really do know how to do CSS, but just haven't done it in a while. My pages look(ed) fine so I just quit messing with them and now I've got to relearn...
