Backdrop Colour??

Hi all. This is my first post here, and many more to come.
Can you tell me how I can find out what the RGB value is on my backdrop? I want to make a jpeg to blend into it! I tried a transparent Gif but it looked so bad I had to take it off.

That's an awesome feature! To bad I can't point the infrared mouse at the walls of a rental property to get the paint color for touch-ups as easily...!
