Enable linking from photo description

I have put in web addresses & addresses to other pbase images in the PHOTO DESCRIPTION. The links do not highlight or work. I have enable direct linking but that has to do with the forums not the stylesheet.

http://www.pbase.com/cits_4_pets/image/103593250 has in the description a link to another photo I have on pbase

http://www.pbase.com/cits_4_pets/image/103573170 has a web address of the musician's site that I want to have a new window open to his site.

Try entering the code below into your picture description. This should work with the web address as well, just substitute the address and name of link.

just putting the "<" prior to the link works in the image description. The style sheet question:. Code: Select all < can that be put in for the style sheet or do I just need to put the < before a link when I do a description? Thanks for your response.

The previous code will work in HTML, not sure if it will work in a style sheet, but I doubt it.

Thanks Shawn. I finally figured it out, I had get the image address from the 'edit this photo' page & copy the address that said for direct linking url. So I had the right idea, just did not copy the correct addresses as i was doing the address in the browser & not the one that said for direct linking. Got the web page up and running! Thanks again for trying to help!
