css working

OK, the css defines the color etc. What else do I have to do to create the placement and text (this is how I want my site to look http://www.pbase.com/tim32225 ) I copied the css files. How do I change the layout of the screen. I must be missing something????

When I do a view source, I see the html. How do I upload any changes to pbase? I use Ultra Edit and Front Page. All the css does is set the color sceam, correct?
