Delay in Slideswow

Post Sat Dec 27, 2008 7:11 am

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with the slideshow that I inserted into my root gallery. The problem is when I enter the page for the first time it takes a second to
the slideshow to start presenting images. http://www.pbase.com/dbenyakar

The first image it freezes on, is shown as grey color for that 1 second. After that strange delay it starts showing the photos in the slideshow manner.
This happens also when going to a different page and then going back to the root gallery.

Has anyone had that problem?
How can this be solved?

Never seen that one before, that is a strange error indeed.

The random setting in the slideshow() command was only recently introduced, you might have found a bug. Try and set random to no just to see if it makes a difference in IE7

The random does not change that.
But it appears that something in my CSS causes it. I changed to some other style sheet I have (the one for "Me" gallery) and when
switched to that CSS the slideshow displayed with no delays at all.

I just dont know which part of it affects the slideshow.
