Top PBase menu colors changing

I am using alexc stylesheet and I would like to change the colors of the top PBase menu bar that has a violet color. I´d change it so it contrasts less with the Alexc "feel". How can it be done?

On the profile page there is a place called "Edit Account Settings" go there and then to the "Appearance" tab the should be something there to adjust the "pbase style menu bar" color. I believe there are two or three settings available.
