some advice please

Hi All

Here I am in the UK browsing and came across this great site. I'm really impressed with the work and enthusiasm here. Well done all.

I have a company in the UK called gaskinimages.com and I am busily hunting for photographs that can be added to the gallery section...sunsets, some whacky stuff, water, nature, architecture....and lots more.

We have developed a special canvas printing technique that looks and feels amazing and is very robust (you can wash it in the shower if you're so inclined!)....anyway, getting to the point.

If any of you have images we can put in our gallery and are selected to print we pay a 5-10% commission for each time its printed as a soft canvas. The bigger the canvas the more the commission. Easy.

This is a genuine email and we have spent a lot of time and effort creating the site and are appearing in the major UK camera magazines from this month (see WHAT Digital Camera, Digital Photo.....).

I'm passionate about what we do and seeing great shots as a contemporary canvas is wonderful. There are plenty of great shots here.

I'm not touting for business @Pbase but respectfully asking if anyone would like us to consider their work for our site please post here or email me.

We need full res (jpegs are fine) from 5-6 M pixel camera or greater please.

You may want to consider approaching people on an individual basis outside the forum.

If I were you I'd just ask the owners of any individual pictures you are interested in.. the worse thing that can happen is they just say no. .. or they don't have it at the desired resolution. You'll probably get some people who are interested and the others will probably be flattered anyway.
