Strange stripes

I went to try my new Sigma 70-300 Apo 2 and in 2 shots i noticed these stripes http://www.pbase.com/image/26521479 .
Has anybody else expirience with this??? Is it the lens or the Camera,although i must say i never had this before.

Hi Christin,

to me this looks just like tree branches which are out of focus (close to the camera).

Nothing to worry about except that they ruin the shot...

Yup I think they are something out of focus quite close to the lens. Maybe the healing tool in PS could fix it?

Sure you will have checked, but don't rule out the possibility of something on your sensor (couple of hairs/eyelashes or similar?).

Agreed, that's what it looks like to me. Even some long blades of grass that you didn't realize were in the shot.

After looking and checking again and again, I think you are right,it must have been something in front of the lense ,although i did clean everything, just to make sure.
