Cool! I KNEW that was Whitewater Falls. My brother lived close to there for a while.

Here's on from Jasper National Park in Canada:

Awesome falls. Thats beautiful. It should photograph well with a slow shutter speed also.

yeah. i had hunted around before the trip trying to find an ND filter that fit, to no avail. Without it, the white on the water was too bright at slower speeds.

You lost me on that one. If the exposure is the same and you are just changing the f stop and shutter speed the water should be the same. Just the way it is captured is diferent. I took another shot of Whitewater falls the same day at a different shutter speed. The only difference in the color of the water is any post processing differences I might have made.

Thanks PeterB....in fact that pic at top of whitewater falls was editor pick of the week in the link you provided (nature photographers online magazine) Last July.
